Plan the migration before changing DNS. Keep the old service online until the new site and email have been tested.
- Lower DNS TTL ahead of the migration when practical.
- Build and test the site on the Intelliwire service.
- Copy files, databases, cron jobs, SSL requirements, and mailboxes as applicable.
- Test the domain, forms, redirects, database connections, and email from multiple networks.
- Schedule a final sync during a low-traffic period.
- Update DNS or nameservers and monitor both services during propagation.
