How do burst resources work on a VPS?

Burst resources are temporary capacity available above the normal allocation when the host has capacity. They can help absorb short traffic spikes, but they are not a substitute for a larger plan.

Design the application to operate within its guaranteed CPU and RAM. Monitor sustained usage, queue depth, slow queries, and out-of-memory events. If demand remains high, upgrade rather than relying on burst behavior.
